My client is a global expert in the manufacturing, servicing and repair of wind turbine rotor blades with offices located throughout Europe and North America. They have an impressive pedigree and track record within the industry and are now looking to bring on an experienced Wind Turbine Blade Engineer in Denmark.

Position Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Blade Engineer to take responsibility for the technical management of all aspects of their blade program, including the repair, maintenance replacement and modification. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading blade manufacturer with an established name within the industry.

Responsibilities:-

Take charge of the repair process
Play a large role in the development and testing phases
Oversee and perform blade maintenance
Verify that blades are produced exactly to the clients specifications
Evaluation of Wind Turbine Manufacturers´ development of new technology
Design review of wind turbines
Assistance in preparation, evaluation and negotiation of tender documents for wind turbine procurement.
Ensure that work scopes run on time and within budget
Ensure that the projects maintain high levels of health and safety standards

Requirements
Education:-

Must have a degree in a relevant Engineering field such as Mechanical, Civil or Electrical

Core Requirements:-

3+ years experience in composite design, manufacturing and repair of wind turbines
At least 3 years of relevant experience in wind turbine design and optimisation
Be able to understand the total design and development process of wind turbines
Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
Able to work in a team and build up strong relationships
Working experience from within a complex multi-disciplinary project environment
General Requirements:-

Ability to travel
Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
